Fat Sal’s is a go-to spot for over-the-top, mouthwatering sandwiches that are as creative as they are delicious. The portions are massive, and the combinations are wild—perfect for satisfying a big appetite or a late-night craving. The Fat Texas BBQ and Fat Buffalo are personal favorites, packed with flavor and enough to keep you full for hours. The vibe is fun and casual, making it a great hangout spot near UCLA. That said, it can get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, and seating is limited, so finding a spot to eat can be tricky. Also, the prices are on the higher side, but the quality and portion sizes make it worth it.If you’re in the mood for a messy, indulgent sandwich, Fat Sal’s is the place to be. It’s not an everyday spot, but it’s a treat you’ll remember!

Only reason it’s not a star is because the guys were nice and really wanted to help me choose being that it was my first time there. They suggested a couple things with Fat Texas being one of them and it was a Fat NO for me! Food wasn’t hot/fresh, cheese stick wasn’t cheesing, beef was tough, and for $ plus tip?!! Never again but shoutout to the workers... they tried.

This is not a bad sandwich. But my main problem is that the prices are completely misconstrued on the app online. The photo shows that the sandwiches are $ each, but they're $. That's almost double what they listed online. If you're going to post a menu online, you have to be sure that it is hundred percent accurate.I'm hoping they do not do it on purpose, but part of me does believe that these low prices that they show online draw customers in. I'm not sure but I hope they lower the prices because $ for a hero is not something I'll continue to pay.But to be fair, the sandwich was tasty. Three out of five easily

We ate here last night, the burger was flat. I tried ordering something unique and just ended up with a mess. My sandwich was called pepperoni burger. It was weird, the flavors did not come together at all. The food is good quality as I did not get any heartburn or anything like that. My family ordered healthier option like the turkey club and the chicken ranch & seemed to enjoy it. The tables were extremely sticky. It was okay overall.
